Love by the Lake, a Mountain Elopement

October 2, 2018 - They both swiped right.

October 4, 2018 - They went on their first date.

October 3, 2020 - They eloped!

Marli and Zach were originally planning a huge traditional wedding in West Virginia and decided this past summer to cancel everything and elope in Colorado, and it was totally epic! They spent the morning together, having breakfast and FaceTiming their family and friends. Beautiful, heartfelt gifts and letters were exchanged (many tears were shed) and it was the perfect way for them to prepare for the day. Zach’s velvet burgundy bowtie matched Marli’s velvet heels and they both incorporated small details into their attire that honored family members. The ceremony took place at a lake in Breckenridge and it was breathtaking. As they kissed, hikers passing by cheered and clapped for the new Mr. and Mrs.! The couple then went hiking and got some amazing pictures together and even found a gorgeous waterfall as a backdrop. Marli and Zach continued to laugh and share the special moments together and it was the most perfect day. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
