Classic, Warm and Inviting Colorado wedding

Becca and Colin had the most beautiful Colorado mountain wedding at North Star Gatherings in Idaho Springs, Colorado! Everything about this wedding was classic, warm, and inviting… just like the happy couple! Becca and Colin thought of every detail, prioritizing a fun guest experience and building special memories. The weekend kicked off with an intimate creekside rehearsal dinner followed by a welcome party for all their guests to attend, giving them one-on-one time with everyone the day before the wedding. Wedding day started off with a little rain, but the sun shone brightly during the ceremony. They didn’t want to obscure the breathtaking mountain views with an arch, so Becca and Colin opted for a grounded floral arch. And the thoughtful details didn’t stop there! A charming lounge set was available for guests to relax on during cocktail hour. Framed photos from all the other weddings in their family decorated the escort card display. A friend of the bride designed all the wedding stationery, including the delicate invitation suite (complete with wax seal and a sprig of dried flowers). The food service was family style, keeping people happily conversing all through dinner. When it was time for toasts, a splash of whiskey was served alongside the champagne, as a tribute to the bride’s late father. Then the party began, and guests celebrated the new couple for the rest of the night on the dance floor, pausing only for a quick bite of dessert or a stop by the late-night soft pretzel bar.
