9 Stunning Wedding Backdrops You Can Only Have in Colorado

Considering a Colorado wedding? The state is quickly becoming a hot wedding destination for couples everywhere. In 2017, Denver alone had over 8,400 marriage licenses issued, up over a 1,000 since 2015. Many of these marriages were for couples that don’t live in the state; in fact, 40% of A Touch of Bliss couples don’t reside in Colorado, and almost a quarter of every wedding in the US is a destination wedding.

We could talk all day about why Colorado is the greatest place to get married, but right now we're just going to focus on the most obvious--the beauty!

Check out some of the most gorgeous views in the Colorado, from the mountains to the city, most too beautiful for our couples to even look away from!

D&N’s wedding in late September in Vail at a secluded venue called Piney River Ranch.

Strawberry Creek Ranch has the best views in Granby.

Steamboat Springs in the winter time is quite the sight to see!

Red Rocks Country Club in Morrison is a great place to see not only Red Rocks, but the foothills as well.

Before their wedding at Ya Ya Farm & Orchard, K&B stopped by Lost Gulch Overlook in Boulder to take photos.

T&T got married in their own backyard in Golden.

Just South of Denver is Cherokee Ranch & Castle, where this couple took in the stellar view of the Front Range. (Plus, there’s a castle!)

You’d think that because we’re landlocked we wouldn’t have very many weddings on the water, but The Lakehouse at Cherry Creek is a great nautical option.

You don’t even have to leave the suburbs to see the Rocky Mountains at Highlands Ranch Mansion.
