Where did you grow up? What do you consider to be your hometown?

  • I grew up in Birmingham, MI - a town about 30 minutes outside of Detroit - and lived there my whole life until I went off to college!

How long have you lived in Colorado? What do you love about it?

  • I have lived in Colorado for about 5 months so I have not experienced a lot of what Colorado has to offer. So far I love all of the opportunities to explore the outdoors and the easy access to nature. I enjoy hiking so I am super excited for the spring and summer to take full advantage of all the beautiful landscapes this state has to offer.

What does your perfect Saturday look like?

  • My perfect Saturday looks like waking up to a hot cup of coffee and going on a relaxed morning walk through the neighborhood. After that I'd go shopping with my gal pals and maybe stop along the way for happy hour, rounding out the day with a nice quiet evening at home with my boyfriend watching a movie and snacking on some popcorn!

Why do you like most about the wedding industry?

  • The thing I like the most about the wedding industry is the unlimited creativity that flows throughout it, allowing each couple the ability to create their own event that reflects their unique personalities and love stories. My current favorite trend in the industry is the “themed wedding weekends” where every event from the welcome party to the farewell brunch have their own unique themes and dress codes. I think this creates such a fun atmosphere for the guests and makes for some fabulous photo ops!

What do you like to do in your free time? What are your hobbies? What are your favorite things in life? What is something that always cheers you up?

  • In my free time I like to hang out with my boyfriend at our apartment with our kitties. I also like to hang out with my friends whether that's going on walks to get coffee or going out for a girls' night on the town. Regardless of the activity, it always cheers me up just being around people that I care about.

Boxed wine gets a bad rap. As a self-proclaimed wine connoisseur, I was shocked to discover that there are some boxed wine brands out there that I genuinely enjoy.

My Other Best Friend (besides YOU, of course!)

Two cats named Kitty and Maisy

My kitten Maisy LOVES to sit on people's shoulders. She is so adventurous and wants to be as high up as possible. She is also a food fiend. It is nearly impossible to have any food out without her trying to sneak a taste. She is a little trouble maker - it's a good thing she's so stinkin' cute!
