Alison Loretta
“Lover of good food, great company, and a bit of adventure.”
Where did you grow up? What do you consider to be your hometown?
I grew up moving around the West Coast and lived in New York for 8 years before moving to Denver. I don’t know if I have a hometown, but Denver feels like home, and I’m not planning on leaving anytime soon!
How long have you lived in Colorado? What do you love about it?
I’ve been in Colorado for about 3 and a half years, and what I love most is how the city life in Denver offers so much, yet you’re never far from nature. Whether it's a hike in the mountains or just taking in the fresh air, there’s always a chance to recharge. But what really stood out to me was how quickly I felt connected to my community—people here are so welcoming, and it didn’t take long to feel like I truly belonged. It’s a place that just clicks.
How do you feel best encouraged? How do you like to encourage others?
I feel most encouraged by specific, genuine praise. That’s how I try to encourage others too! I love highlighting the things I admire about people—whether it’s their work, attitude, or talents. Shouting out those little, specific things can really make someone’s day and help them keep going.
Why do you like most about the wedding industry? Do you have any favorite trends?
What I love most about the wedding industry is how personal and unique it’s becoming. Couples are now designing experiences that truly reflect who they are, rather than just following traditions because they’re expected. It’s not about doing things the "right" way—it’s about creating something that feels authentic to them. I think it's beautiful that, at the end of the day, we're all here because we love love, and we’re united in helping people celebrate that in their own way.
What do you like to do in your free time? What are your hobbies? What is something that always cheers you up?
In my free time, I’m all about getting hands-on with a DIY project—whether it’s crafting something new, tackling a gardening project, or even building furniture. Honestly, I have so many hobbies, I think I need a hobby just to keep track of them all, it’s like my free time is a never-ending project list! When I’m not diving into a new project, I love getting out into the mountains. Hiking with my dogs or camping is the perfect way to reset, disconnect, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Cats would absolutely eat us if they were bigger... and I respect them for that.
My Other Best Friend (besides YOU, of course!)
Two dogs, Buffy and Teddy!
Buffy is our eldest, and is an independent woman with a lot of sass. Right when she got out of her crazy puppy phase we thought we could try fostering dogs. Our first attempt was Teddy and we fell in love with the cuddle-bug and couldn't give him up! Now they're the ultimate dynamic duo. Unfortunately I don't think my partner will let me foster another one any time soon!
